The Rural Municipality of Aberdeen No. 373 is located roughly 8 kilometers east of the City of Saskatoon. The South Saskatchewan River is the northern boundary of the municipality.

The municipality encompasses six full townships and parts of four others. Agriculture, both grain, specialty crops and livestock productions is the maj or industry within the municipality. There is a community pasture and five country residential areas; Strawberry Hills, Strawberry Ridge, Mission Ridge, Bergheim Estates and Cherry Hill Estates plus many scattered single-parcel residential acreages are located within the municipality. The population of the municipality is located in the southern portion of the municipality. This is due to the country residential areas (located fifteen minutes out of the City of Saskatoon.

Fish Creek Historical Park is located in the northern tip of the municipality. General Middleton’s camp and the Fish Creek battleground of the Riel Rebellion over look the South Saskatchewan River.

The municipal office is located within the Town of Aberdeen which located along Highway 41 in the center of the municipality. The municipality provides a library, fire
fighting and recreation facilities through agreements with the Town of Aberdeen.
